The Patriot Fund

An invitation to partner in a legacy.

Tuition alone cannot sustain this mission, and it was never designed to. Across independent schools, tuition typically covers about 75–85% of the true cost of educating a student (industry benchmark). Everything beyond that is carried by people who believe in the work — alumni, grandparents, parents, and neighbors. Gifts to the Patriot Fund go to work this school year, and they are tax-deductible.

Why support matters here

Planned giving

Ways to give beyond a check.

Many families find that a planned gift lets them do more than they thought possible, often with meaningful tax advantages. Our advancement office will work alongside your attorney or financial advisor — at your pace, with no pressure.

  • Bequests & estate plans

A line in your will or trust that names Bangor Christian Schools.

  • Appreciated stock

Gifting securities directly can avoid capital gains while giving their full value.

  • Real estate

Property gifts, whole or partial, handled carefully with your advisors.

  • Life insurance

Name the school as a beneficiary, or gift a policy you no longer need.

  • IRA distributions

Qualified charitable distributions can satisfy required withdrawals.

  • Memorial & honor gifts

Give in memory of a teacher, a classmate, or a parent who made this possible.

To talk it through, contact the advancement office.
